1. Product Definition

An air-water separator removes free moisture from compressed air and serves as a pretreatment device in the compressor aftertreatment system. The QS series uses a cyclone structure combined with centrifugal, gravitational, and impact principles to effectively separate liquid water mist. It is suitable for screw, piston, and oil-free air compressors, with a flow range of 0.6–60 m³/min and working pressure of 10–16 bar.

5. Selection Guidelines

  • Flow matching – Separator capacity ≥ compressor displacement

  • Installation position – After the aftercooler, before the air receiver or before fine filters

  • Installation direction – Vertical mounting, follow inlet/outlet markings

  • Drainage check – Ensure the automatic drain valve works properly

  • Pressure rating – Choose 10 bar or 16 bar according to system pressure
