An oil-free scroll air compressor is a positive displacement compressor that uses two interleaving spiral-shaped scrolls (one stationary, one orbiting) to compress air without any oil entering the compression chamber. Unlike oil-injected compressors that require lubrication for sealing and cooling, scroll compressors are oil-free by design—the two scrolls never make metal-to-metal contact, eliminating the need for lubrication in the airend.
This design delivers 100% oil-free compressed air, certified to ISO 8573-1 Class 0—the highest level of air purity.

Scroll air compressor Advantages
1. 100% Oil-Free Air – ISO 8573-1 Class 0 Certified
No oil is introduced into the compression chamber at any stage. Class 0 certification requires oil content ≤ 0.001 mg/m³ across aerosol, vapor, and liquid—10 times stricter than the old standard. Zero contamination risk for your products and processes.
2. Ultra-Quiet Operation
Scroll compressors operate at exceptionally low noise levels—as low as 48–53 dB(A). This is comparable to a quiet library, making them suitable for indoor and noise-sensitive environments without requiring a separate sound-attenuated room.
3. Compact & Space-Saving Design
With fewer components and a compact footprint, scroll compressors require significantly less floor space. They can even be installed in a closet or at the point of use, eliminating the need for a dedicated compressor room.
4. Low Maintenance & High Reliability
Scroll compressors have far fewer moving parts than piston compressors. This translates to higher reliability, longer lifespan, and minimal maintenance. No oil changes, no oil filters, no oil separation maintenance required. Typical pump life exceeds 15,000 operating hours.
5. Energy Efficient
Scroll compressors are inherently 10–15% more efficient than traditional piston compressors. They minimize pressure drops and eliminate unloaded power consumption through simple start/stop control. Equipped with IE3 premium efficiency motors as standard.
6. Modular Design for Flexibility
Up to 4 scroll elements can be installed and operated individually, together, or alternately depending on demand. This provides built-in redundancy—if one module fails, others continue to supply compressed air.
7. Pulsation-Free Air Delivery
Continuous air flow from suction to discharge ensures stable and consistent air supply—critical for sensitive production lines and laboratory equipment.
8. Lower Discharge Temperature
Efficient design results in lower discharge temperatures, decreasing the inlet temperature for downstream treatment equipment and reducing post-treatment investment costs.
9. Environmentally Friendly
No oil in the compression process means no oil changes, no oil filters, no waste oil disposal—reducing your carbon footprint and supporting sustainability goals

FAQS
Q1: Are scroll compressors truly oil-free?
Yes. Our RO series are 100% oil-free scroll compressors—no oil enters the compression chamber at any point. Certified to ISO 8573-1 Class 0.
Q2: What is ISO 8573-1 Class 0 certification?
The highest air purity level. Oil content ≤ 0.001 mg/m³ across aerosol, vapor, and liquid—10 times stricter than the old standard. Zero contamination risk.
Q3: What maintenance does a scroll compressor require?
Minimal. Routine maintenance includes air filter inspection, tip seal checks (as needed), and general cleaning. No oil changes, no oil filter replacements, no oil separation maintenance.
Q4: Can multiple scroll modules work together?
Yes. Up to 4 modules can be installed and operated individually, together, or alternately depending on demand. Provides flexibility and built-in redundancy.
Q5: What power supply options are available?
220V/380V, 50Hz/60Hz, single-phase and three-phase. Custom configurations available upon request.
Q6: What is the typical lead time?
Standard lead time is 20 days after order confirmation. Custom orders may take longer—please contact us for specific requirements.
Q7: Do you provide spare parts and after-sales support?
Yes. Each unit includes a complete spare parts kit. We offer full after-sales technical support—installation guidance, troubleshooting, and maintenance advice.
