The Rocky RPN29-150-N0.6 PSA Nitrogen Generator is an on‑site nitrogen production system based on Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology. Using Carbon Molecular Sieves (CMS) as the adsorbent medium, the system takes advantage of the different diffusion rates of oxygen and nitrogen molecules into the micropores of the CMS. Under pressurization, oxygen and other impurity gases are preferentially adsorbed, allowing high‑purity nitrogen to be continuously produced. The dual‑tower design operates alternately – one tower adsorbs under pressure to generate nitrogen while the other simultaneously regenerates through depressurization – ensuring uninterrupted 24/7 nitrogen supply.
With a nitrogen flow rate of 150 Nm³/h and a purity of 99%, this model is an ideal on‑site nitrogen generation solution, offering a cost‑effective and reliable alternative to traditional cylinder‑supplied or liquid nitrogen systems.

Key Advantages
On‑site PSA nitrogen generation can cut nitrogen costs by up to 90%. Compared with traditional cylinder or liquid nitrogen supply, PSA offers lower and more stable gas costs, eliminating expenses for cylinder rental, transportation, storage, and manual handling. A one‑time capital investment delivers long‑term savings.
The dual‑tower alternating operation ensures consistent nitrogen purity, flow rate, and pressure. The system supports 24/7 continuous operation, effectively eliminating the risk of gas supply interruption. The selected high‑quality valves are designed to withstand up to 1 million switching cycles, ensuring long‑term reliability.
Equipped with an advanced PLC control system, the generator continuously monitors nitrogen purity, flow rate, pressure, and overall operating status. The system runs fully automatically without the need for manual supervision. Off‑spec nitrogen is automatically vented to prevent any impact on production quality.
The system reaches the required nitrogen purity within 15–30 minutes of start‑up. Nitrogen purity can also be flexibly adjusted over a wide range to suit different customer requirements.
The unit features a unique CMS loading and compaction technology, ensuring high packing density and adsorption efficiency. The composite bed design combined with CMS compression technology extends the service life of the molecular sieves. With a simple, robust design, the generator offers low failure rates and easy maintenance.
