The single-stage permanent magnet variable frequency screw compressor utilizes single-stage compression, a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PM motor), and variable frequency drive (VFD) technology. The VFD regulates motor speed, enabling precise control of exhaust volume and pressure, making it suitable for variable load conditions.


Product Features

High Efficiency and Energy Saving: The efficiency of the permanent magnet motor (IE4/IE5 level) is 10%-30% higher than that of conventional industrial frequency motors. Inverter technology eliminates wasted no-load operation, resulting in overall energy savings of 20%-40%.

Stable Pressure Supply: Inverter regulation eliminates frequent starts and stops, with pressure fluctuations ≤±0.1 bar, making it suitable for precision gas applications.

Low Noise: Noise levels are reduced to below 60dB at low speeds (compared to 70dB+ for industrial frequency motors).

Intelligent Control: Supports remote monitoring, automatic adjustments, and fault warnings, adapting to the requirements of Industry 4.0.

FAQ

Q1: Does a permanent magnet variable frequency drive (VFD) save more energy than a conventional VFD?

Yes! Permanent magnet motors have no excitation loss and still achieve over 90% efficiency at partial load, compared to only 80%-85% for conventional asynchronous VFD motors.


Q2: Will permanent magnet motors demagnetize? How can this be prevented?

High temperatures (>150°C) or severe vibration can cause demagnetization, but high-quality models use high-temperature-resistant NdFeB magnets and temperature sensors for protection, offering a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours.


Q3: Will a VFD failure affect production?

Some models support emergency operation with "compressed frequency/converted frequency switching," but this increases energy consumption. Regular VFD maintenance is recommended.


Q4: Is the VFD suitable for extreme environments (such as high temperatures and dust)?

Requires an IP65-rated VFD with high temperature rating. Otherwise, a commercial VFD (more resistant to harsh conditions) is recommended.


Q5: Will maintenance costs be higher? The initial cost is high, but the energy savings usually pay back in 1-3 years; the inverter cooling filter needs to be cleaned regularly and the bearings need to be replaced (60,000-80,000 hours).
