The Ingersoll Rand OS110G is a heavy-duty, industrial-grade, oil-injected rotary screw air compressor. The "G" in its name typically signifies it belongs to a specific series (often a predecessor to the current R-Series) known for robust, single-stage compression and straightforward, reliable operation. It is engineered for continuous duty in demanding industrial environments.


It is essentially a pair of high-precision, intermeshing screw rotors (male and female) and the precision housing that houses them. Its function is to convert the mechanical energy of the motor into the pressure energy of the air through the rotation of the rotors. It is the "heart" of the air compressor and directly determines the air production efficiency, reliability, and lifespan of the compressor.
