The 60-cubic-meter oil-water separator is a physical treatment device. Its core function is to utilize the density difference between oil and water. Through a series of internal technologies, it separates and removes free oil, dispersed oil, and some emulsified oil mixed in wastewater, ensuring that the oil content of the treated effluent meets national and local environmental regulations.
It primarily treats floating and dispersed oil. For highly stable emulsified oil, effective treatment typically requires additional pretreatment processes (such as flotation or demulsification).
Features
1. Large Treatment Capacity
A rated treatment capacity of 60 m³/h means it can handle the continuous, high-flow discharge from large-scale industrial plants or centralized wastewater treatment plants. It can serve as a primary pretreatment unit, meeting the needs of large-scale production and avoiding bottlenecks.
2. High-Efficiency Separation Technology
This unit typically utilizes inclined plate (PP plate) separation technology. By increasing the effective separation area and shortening the distance oil droplets rise, separation efficiency is significantly improved. The compact unit occupies a relatively small footprint, achieving extremely high oil-water separation efficiency within a relatively small space.
3. Compliance with Environmental Regulations
The design goal is to keep the oil content in the effluent below regulatory requirements (e.g., <10 mg/L or <5 mg/L).
